Sapphire gymnasts reach national final (From Watford Observer)

Sapphire School of Gymnastics competitors Stephanie Ponder and Milly Gall reach national final

Sapphire School of Gymnastics competitors Stephanie Ponder and Milly Gall’s impressive performances at the Eastern Region Championships mean both will now represent the region in a national final.

In the level three competition, Ponder placed second with a final score of 46.925 while Gall secured fourth position in level four with 45.60.

Their respective displays means Ponder joins the east region side as a full-team member while Gall is currently a reserve.

Jessie Boad, who was also in action at the event in Ipswich, scored 43.05 but it was not high enough to qualify for the team.

Meanwhile, in the FIG junior competition, Danni Hubbard from Rickmansworth came second scoring 47.45.
