Key points
- Middlesbrough win 2-1 thanks to a goal on 77 minutes when Scott McDonald cut across the area and found the bottom corner with a low drive.
- The Hornets spent the whole of the second half with ten men for the second game in a row after referee Steve Rushton believed Matej Vydra stamped on Nicky Bailey just before the break.
- Watford had taken the lead after 28 seconds when Matej Vydra intercepted Andre Bikey's backpass and whilst his effort was saved, Troy Deeney scored in the empty net.
- Middlesbrough were on the back foot for most of the opening half hour but equalised when Bikey won the initial header at a corner and Marvin Emnes applied the finish from close range.
- Alex Geijo came off the bench for his Watford debut

Yep the kit is so much better in yellow and black!
I just hope we play well and get the 3 points today! Hopefully we will see the gates go up as we could really do with getting it up to 15,000 +

In any event if Watford show the same determination as they did on Tuesday there is every chance of making it three wins in a row. However it shows the positive side of having a big squad so these things don't have as much impact as in previous seasons. COYH

I reckon we will win today against Boro. What about you guys? Can't see us getting beaten.
2-0. Clean sheet at last. Am I too optimistic? Maybe it's the sunshine (& the druglike addiction I have to WFC. Going crazy. Need help. Ask Frank)
