Dolphins continue winning run with Eagles victory

Dolphins added to their opening win with a 5-3 victory over Eagles in Division One of the Watford & District Table Tennis League.
Hounds also won 5-3 with Gazelles the losers. David Oram won three for the victors.
Progress 'A' and 'B' met in the Premier League with the juinors from the 'A' team winning 6-2. Mitchell Jones finished unbeaten for 'A'. Watling ‘A’ continued their winning ways beating Aardvarks 5-3 although Glen Wilkes was unbeaten for the losers.
Two other matches ended in draws. Bats, with Geof Bax unbeaten, drew with Post office, whilst Fullerians drew with Abbots Langley for whom Ken Stonebridge starred.
In Division Two, Audit ‘A’ added another four points with Oxhey Hall the victims this time. Audit had two juniors in their team for their 7-1 win. Two other matches both ended in draws, Lions against Meerkats, and Jaguars against Iguanas.
In Division Three, Panthers proved much too strong for Quails who lost 8-0. Steve Barnett, Ivor Price, and Philip Gore were part of the winning team. In a much closer match, Watling ‘E’ had Simon Pyzer starring as they defeated Racoons 5-3.
