Personal best for Watford Jogger in St Albans run

Watford Jogger Stuart Borrill recorded his second personal best in a week at the St Albans 5k park run.

It was Borrill's first outing this year over the distance and he clocked a time of 21.54. He was just shy of experienced runner James Gamble's time of 21.41.

Barry Griffin travelled to Kielder in Northumberland and completed the marathon in 3.58.

Gail Winter took part in the Clarendon Way marathon from Salisbury to Winchester and was third in her age group with 4.14.03.

Simon Wool ran a fine time of 1.29.43 in Sunday's Windsor half marathon.

Scott Goodwin clocked 1.34.24 for a new personal best at the Royal Parks half marathon which takes in Hyde, St James and Green parks along with Kensington Gardens.

Paul Christie was happy with a PB of 41.56 at the Abbott's Langley Tough 10k on Sunday. Mark Studdart secured his second best time for the course with 41.41.
