Vote for your man-of-the-match from Watford's win against Peterborough United

Matej Vydra came off the bench to score Watford’s winner from the penalty spot against Peterborough United yesterday but who was your man-of-the-match?

Nathaniel Chalobah twice went close in the second half, forcing Posh keeper Bobby Olejnick to make a fine save before hitting the post, while Fernando Forestieri saw one of his attempts cleared off the line.

Or perhaps your choice is one of the defenders that helped the Hornets keep their first clean sheet in almost two months?

Have your say by voting in the first of our man-of-the-match ballots that we plan to make a regular feature of our Watford coverage online.

Chalabah just shaded it from Abdi, who I thought was outstanding , he could walk into most prem sides.

Most of the team could play in the premiership but I think Forestieri will garner the most interest. Triple marking didn't stop him getting chances and on another day he'd have had a hatrick.

FF showed some great skill and could have scored 3 but for me FH was a mountain at the back especially with the way he threw himself in front of that shot in the last minute. I just hope that he remains fit as we will need him this season. Awesome.

Tough call, it's a toss up between Chabolah, Hall ( whose Tiny?) or our Lionel Messi or Abdi
Can't decide..eeny meeny.....!
Thought Deeney out of sorts, Hogg slow in the tackle, and Doyley hundred percent effort ten percent distribution.
Like to see Forresteri, Vydra and Geijo as a front three somehow!

Agree Fitz Hall for me as well did not put a foot wrong all game.

just a joy to watch Fernando.....havnt seen a player take your breath away since john barnes....although im sure his mate messi will tell him to crash the back of the net rather than tickle the ball in !!

It's great that opinions are varied. It means that we have some great players. When/if everyone is fit and the team are all on song, we will give someone a real thrashing. FF (who I voted for) is exciting and people will come to watch him. He really give opponents something to worry about. Needs to have a bit more composure, lift his head and pick a pass instead of shooting most of the time. Abdi is my fav though, great ball retention, gives himself space and time, picks agreat pass and can shoot. Pure class.

All the above mentioned players had excellent games, particularly in the second half but I think that Hoban deserves a special mention, I thought that he had a great game and has so much composure for one so young. Another great prospect.

Yes, he seems to be cementing himself as a regular, very steady performance

All of our defenders had a great game, but Fitz Hall wins it for me, he won every ball, and made an outstanding block in the 2nd half. He only made one mistake, when he slipped and it went for a corner.

It was Chabolah for me just ahead of Hall, Hoban and Forresteri he is a very tricky player but sometimes a bit greedy just my opinion.Peterborough didnt play like a team at the bottom their defence was pretty decent but a bit lightweight up front.

Just been watching a few interviews with Chalobah.....what a lovely lad he seems. Hope he keeps his feet well planted on the ground and continues to learn and doesn't become a stereotypical young footballer, if you know what I mean. Could easily go all the way, this lad and hope he does. Terrific loan signing. Hope we can keep him for the season at least.

For me I would give it to Tommie Hoban. He seems to get better each game and deserves his place in the team.

Just hope Chelsea keep winning then Nathan could be with us all season, fingers crossed.Clearly Gianfranco has great links with Chelsea and many other clubs. Nice to have a manager that is so popular amongst his peers. How nice to see Fitz Hall regain some of his past form, many had him written off as i remember as a crock.Yet another astute signing i must say.I must compliment the effort that Lloyd put in against the Posh, whatever he lacks in skills he compensates in manifold with his tireless effort. We certainly have a good mix in the squad to say the least.

I think everyone had a pretty decent game, apart from Casetti, hes too old to play at right wing. I'm all for having him in the squad as cover for the two defensive midfielders or right back, but hes not an attacking wide player in my opinion.
Tommie Hoban was great, its exciting to see such promising youngsters come through, and even better he's ours, on a long term contract too.
