Radlett Women maintained their 100 per cent record in the Championship with a 31-run victory over Orpington Nomads on Sunday.
Having won the toss, Radlett elected to bat and finished with 164 for eight, with Catherine McNeil (30), Katie Pankhurst (28) and Sian Ruck (20) each providing important contributions.
Ruck (three for 25) and Anna Harris (three for 28) restricted Orpington to 133 for nine to extend the club’s ladies side’s unbeaten record to 23 matches.
Hampstead Women beat Hemel Hempstead Women by seven wickets on Sunday.
Put into bat first, Hemel made 92 for three with S Ward (40 not out) their top scorer. Hampstead secured the win by reaching their target with seven wickets remaining, S Culley (31 not out) top-scoring for the hosts.
K Hassell took two for 14 for the visitors.
