Abbots Langley Cricket Club have appointed Barry Warner as their first team captain for the upcoming Herts League season.
Matt Dunstone has stepped down from the role and Warner, who captained the side in the 1990s, has been placed in charge of the side for the second time. Steve Wallis remains vice captain.
The Seconds have focused on youth and have named 21-year-old John Battams as their skipper with Daniel Roache the vice captain.
Cam Patel moves aside to be replaced by veteran Reza Khan for the Thirds and Pete Bailey fronts the Fourths for a second year in a row.
Off the pitch, Abbots Langley Parish Council have recognised the club for their accomplishments in junior cricket and Abbots have been awarded a certificate of achievement.
In addition to their four senior sides, the club have around 170 six to 18 year olds involved in their Colts teams.
Since 2003 the section has produced five County Championship winning sides in Under-10, Under-11, Under-15 and Under-17 age groups.
