Division Six

Hemel Hempstead Town Seconds picked up a four-wicket win at Harrow St Mary’s Seconds on Sunday.

The hosts batted first but struggled as they were dismissed for just 136.

Rahul Wickramsinghe played his first match of the season and showed what Hemel have been missing as he returned figures of five for 32 from ten overs to rattle through Harrow’s top order.

Jim Langley finished off their opponents as he picked up three wickets for one run in just nine balls.

It did not get off to the most promising start when Hemel opener Lewis Boughton was out for one. Ryan Wilson scored 14 but the star of their innings was Tom Waterton as he struck a valuable 67.

Steve Smith added 11 while Will Langley contributed 14 as Hemel won with four wickets in hand and ten overs to spare.
