Despite a wicket falling in the second over, Parkfield took on the Kings attack and raced to a commanding position of 160 for four. With Langley refusing to give in, Parkfield then lost four wickets for one run leaving 14 needed with two wickets left.

An explosive over from Khan saw him ease the visitors to victory for the loss of eight wickets.

After losing the toss, Ricky were made to suffer as two Watton players made centuries in a huge total of 334 for four.

With 55 overs to chase the seemingly impossible target, at 46 for four Ricky looked out of the game.

A partnership of 44 between captain Paul Blackwell and 16-year-old Anaru Siva (19) was just the start however, as 13-year-old product of the colts system Raunak Khanduja played a remarkable innings.

On his debut for the team, Khanduja went on to score a maiden half-century (50 not out) as he and Blackwell (86) put on 108 for the sixth wicket and ensured Ricky finished with maximum batting points and a draw on 236 for six.

However, a middle-order collapse turned the game around with Kings on 226 for eight just eight overs later. But the lower order dug in and saw Kings home, with 13-year-old Liberty Maher showing maturity beyond his years with a calm 14 not out to claim the 30 points.

Green removed their hosts for just 117 thanks mainly to the heroics of May, pictured, yet despite solid starts from Tom Callingham (36) and Graham Evans (33) putting Levy on 91 for two, a woeful collapse meant they were all out four runs short of the target score.

Jonathan Lyons hit his third century in four innings with a magnificent 108, including boundaries to all parts of the ground. But only two other batsmen, skipper Simon Dare and Harry Saunders, reached double figures.

Dare continued his all-round display as he then opened the bowling and picked up four for 36 from his 12.3 overs, returning for a second spell to mop up the Bury tail.
