Hemel Hempstead Town Seconds maintained their 100 per cent record in Chess Valley Division Six after a 67-run win over St Albans Seconds on Sunday.
Ali Leighton opened with 55 and Ben Dumpleton produced an unbeaten score of 46 to help Hemel reach a competitive total of 205 all out.
St Albans struggled with the bat and it was no surprise they fell short having been dismissed for 138. Dumpleton continued to impress taking four for 13 and Adam Moulster took two for 38 to keep Hemel on track for promotion.
