The Watford Observer Fourteen14 is entering its 48th year. No team has ever won it three years in succession. But that could change this year if Radlett, subject to the club entering again, can maintain their dominance since 2011 and win the trophy for a fourth time in six years.

Whether any team can stop them will be seen over the coming months, but Abbots Langley will have a particular motivation to try and go one better after losing the last two finals.

The Watford Observer Fourteen14 has long been established as the premier event of its kind in the area and clubs have until Thursday, April 14 to enter.

As with previous years, full entry details are available here.

The entry form should be printed off, completed and returned to the stated address with a cheque for £40 to cover the competition entry fee, which remains unchanged.

There have been no changes to the competition rules and teams are required to submit a squad list.

Teams considering entering are strongly advised to read the rules, together with the list of key competition dates. These can be read via the link above.

Only two of the teams will have a chance to battle it out for the main prize, but a Watford Observer title is also on offer to the winners of the Plate with Watford Grammar School for Boys the current holders.

Eight teams will participate in this event.
