Steven Finn is back in the England Test squad.
The Watford-born fast bowler has been named in England's squad for the first Test against Sri Lanka at Headingley next week.
Finn's return marks an upturn in fortune for the former Parmiter's School player who missed out on being part of the England T20 squad which reached the World Cup Final because of injury.
He suffered a calf injury while trying to build up his fitness in the nets while recovering from a side injury which had forced him to withdraw from the England Test tour to South Africa.
The 27-year-old’s return to the fold was widely expected.
He has 113 wickets in 29 Tests at an average of 28.34, and that, coupled with some encouraging early-season form for his county, will have pushed the scales in his favour.
