Steven Finn claimed the prize wicket of Andrew Flintoff to help send Middlesex into their first Twenty20 Cup finals day following a 12-run quarter-final win over Lancashire at The Oval tonight.
The Watford-born and West Herts CC bowler was the pick of the Middlesex attack with figures of two for 28 from his four overs, and had the England all-rounder caught by Dawid Malan for 53 off 41 balls as Lancs’ innings closed on 164 for eight.
Earlier, Malan cracked a stunning 103 off just 54 balls to dig the home side out of a big hole at 21 for four and lift them to their closing total of 176 for seven.
