Chorleywood and Leverstock Green have secured their survival in Division One of the Saracens Herts League.
While Chorleywood were beating Totteridge Millhillians by 27 runs on Saturday, Green were suffering a narrow two-wicket defeat to Hitchin. But the results mean that both clubs have 214 points, 61 more than doomed Dunstable, who are now certain to finish bottom even if they win their remaining two games.
Before the weekend it was possible that two clubs could have been relegated from Division One, but that was dependent on the fortunes of the three Herts teams in Division One of the Home Counties Premier League (HCPL).
Although Radlett were the only of the trio to win on Saturday, beating Oxford by five wickets, neither them, Potters Bar or Welwyn Garden City can now be relegated.
Elsewhere, West Herts will be played HCPL Division Two East cricket again next year after their game with leaders Harpenden ended in a tie – both sides were all out for 161.
