Watford Town Seconds rounded off a Herts League season to remember by thrashing Harpenden Fourths by nine wickets.
Saturday’s victory ensured the already-promoted Woodside club not only took the Division Seven title, but also became the only team in all 14 divisions to go through the campaign unbeaten.
A number of other local sides also had their fate decided on the last day of the league season.
Radlett Seconds demolished Watford Town to get the win they needed to secure promotion and the Division Two crown, while Hemel Hempstead Seconds were promoted from Division Three, despite suffering defeat to Ickleford.
There was heartbreak for West Herts Seconds and Langleybury Seconds after both were relegated from Division Four, but Northwood Seconds avoided the drop in Division Five.
Leverstock Green Seconds picked up enough points from their defeat against Flitwick Seconds to make sure of promotion from Division Six, while Hemel Hempstead Fourths wrapped up the Division Eight championship.
Met Police Bushey Seconds will be playing Division Nine cricket next year, but Northwood Thirds were unable to join them in gaining promotion from Division Ten, and Hemel Hempstead Fifths are also on the rise out of Division 12.
