Watford Observer Fourteen14 Shield final rearranged yet again
12:15pm Monday 16th July 2012 in Cricket By Anthony Matthews, Group Sports Editor
The weather-enforced delays to the Watford Observer Fourteen14 have once again forced organisers to rearrange the Shield final.
The conclusion to the main competition, which was due to be played at Chipperfield Clarendon on Thursday, has been moved back a week to Thursday, July 26, with play starting at the earlier time of 5.45pm.
The decision was taken after this evening's rain-delayed semi-final between West Herts and Watford Town A at Met Police Bushey again fell victim to the weather. It is hoped this will finally be played early next week.
Two matches are due to be played tomorrow - the other Shield semi-final between Langleybury A and Leverstock Green at Watford Town and the last-four clash between Rickmansworth and Watford Town B at Abbots Langley.
