Watford Ladies U12 Hornets overcame local rivals Garston Ladies Sharks to move within three points of securing the U12 Division Two title. A victory in any of their final three games, starting with Hemel Hempstead next week, will secure a well deserved league crown for unbeaten Watford.
Despite a slow start, three quick fire goals from the Hornets (two from Leah Crockett and the third from Frankie Webster) put the game almost beyond doubt.
The half time whistle blew with Watford ahead by 3-0.
Watford were fast off the blocks into the second half and when Leah scored, and secured her first hat-trick for the Hornets, the result was sealed. 4-0.
Final score 4-0 to the Hornets.
Watford now find themselves 10 points points clear at the top of Division 2 and can clinch the league title with victory over Hemel Hempstead next week
