The Wasps travelled to Harpenden this weekend for a double header with the two matches being 30 minutes long.
The unusual shortness of games meant that neither team got into their normal rhythm but the Wasps tended to show more attacking enterprise throughout, especially when kicking downhill. The Ladies won the first game 1-0 and were very unlucky to only draw the second match 1-1. 'Ace' striker Sami Green netted for the Wasps in both games, showing 'Linekar' like poaching abilities in the box.
Two games so two players of the match or 'GOGS' (girl of the game) as they're now called - Lisa Batten and Tina Otieno, both displaying great tenacity, energy and skill all over the pitch.
