A marvellous four goal exhibition of the striker's art by Robyn Blanchard inspired Watford Ladies Under 15s to a comeback victory against their local rivals, Garston.

The first half was keenly contested by two skilful sides. Watford created several opportunities in the Garston area but couldn't apply the finishing touch. The Watford defence cleared their lines well for most of the first half but finally Garston took advantage of uncertainty in the Watford defence and Garston went one up.

Half time score 0-1.

From the second half whistle Watford applied constant pressure to the Garston defence and Robyn Blanchard got the first of her four second half goals within five minutes of the restart; Her second was a classic poacher's goal; her hat-trick was the result of a run from the half way line; Her forth and final goal secured the victory.

The ladies efficiently denied the opposition many further scoring opportunities and any chances that did come their way were easily dealt with by the Watford goalkeeper Corrina Ashman. Final score: a richly deserved 4 -1.
