Watford Football Club has today announced the signing of Mark Yeates from Sheffield United and although his name may be unknown to many Hornets fans, this Irishman’s name is all too familiar with
me.

Why Dyche Will Be A Success at Watford.

Watford Football Club has announced the appointment of Sean Dyche as first team manager. The hornets have also confirmed the signing of Craig Forsyth on a 3 year deal from Dundee. A minority of the
Watford fans are never pleased with the promotion of assistant manager to manager yet I struggled to see any better applicant for the Watford helm. This is why I think Bassini has done the right
thing in appointing Dyche as manager: • Sean Dyche knows the club inside out which will help him undertake the role left by Malky Mackay who exited for Cardiff. He’ll recognize the present finances
available should understand which formation suits the team best along with distinguishing who the better players are at the club.

After Tuesday’s draw to Norwich and Saturday’s defeat to Hull City, Watford’s play off dreams are all but over. The Hornets lay seven points off sixth place and would most probably have to win
their five remaining games to have any hope of snatching sixth place or higher.

On a bitter cold Tuesday night, Watford were at home to Ipswich Town in a Npower Championship League match. For this match, I was lucky enough to sit in the press box and interview a player of my
choice once the game had drawn to a close. As part of my journalism course at West Herts College, I have to write an article for each
edition of the college magazine, so I thought that a review of an interview with a Watford player would be a great piece to go in the sport section.

During Pakistan’s cricket tour of England earlier this year, seven players were accused of match fixing by the British tabloid newspaper News of the World. On the third day of the fourth test, the
paper published an article stating that Mazhar Majeed had accepted a £150,000 bribe from an undercover reporter. In return Majeed confirmed that two Pakistani bowlers, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad
Amir would deliberately deliver no balls at specific points during the match. Mazhar Majeed is a cricket agent who is now under police investigation at Scotland Yard.

Tom Cleverley will be back in the Watford team tomorrow after completing a 3 match ban. The Hornets take on Peterborough at Vicarage Road and desperately
need the three points. Will Buckley could be called up to the squad but it looks doubtful. Other than that there are no fresh injury concerns for Malky’s men. Watford lay only two points off the
relegation zone, yet a win in tomorrow’s match could lift them up to 16th providing other results go their way.
