London Maccabi Lions Under-10s are celebrating back-to-back Red Division wins
London Maccabi Lions Under-10s have won the Red Division once more to claim back-to-back championships.
A 5-3 victory over Borehamwood Red 2000 saw the young Lions claim the title with three games to spare.
Goals from Sam Goldberg, Joseph Abrahams, Oli White and a brace from Jason Burns secured the victory for Maccabi.
The Lions won the top division last season as part of a double and have reached two finals this season, meaning a treble is a distinct possibility.
Manager Joe Burns could not be prouder of what his players have achieved: "I’m extremely proud of all the boys - they are a really special group. They train really hard and fully deserve to be where they are."
