Belstone are second in the Senior Premier Division following an 8-1 thrashing of Standon and Puckeridge on Saturday.
Darren Turner scored a brace for ruthless Belstone, who progressed through the gears, with further goals coming from Dale Bradman, Paul Killick, Carl McCluskey, Daniel Puzey, Tayler O’Flynn and Danny Johnson.
Bedmond Sports & Social Club built on their win over Belstone on Tuesday of last week by winning 3-1 at Hertford Heath.
Danny Fielding netted twice, with George Hobson scoring the other for fourth-placed Bedmond.
Bovingdon were also big winners, beating Lemsford 6-1, with Joseph Slade and substitute Lewis Pritchard both bagging doubles.
Craig Preston and Ryan Anthony also scored, whilst Danny Pickett scored Lemsford’s consolation goal.
Mill End drew 1-1 against top-of-the-table Whitwell, picking up a creditable point against the league’s highest scorers.
Bushey Sports Club were heavily beaten, going down 4-1 at home to Wormley Rovers; Dean Williams scoring for Bushey.
Chipperfield Corinthians also had a weekend to forget, losing 4-0 at Letchworth Garden City Eagles.
John Coley, Sam Gittings, Andrew Magadah and Paul McGennity scored the goals for Letchworth.
It was also a fruitless weekend for Sarratt, who were beaten 1-0 at Cuffley; Glenn Geddes scoring the decisive goal.
In Senior Division One, Old Parmiterians are top of the table after claiming their second win of the season, beating Colney Heath Reserves 2-0.
Alex Connolly and Martin Skinner scored the goals for Parmiterians, who maintained their 100 per cent record.
Evergreen’s involvement in high-scoring games continued with a 3-3 draw against Knebworth – following a 9-0 defeat on the opening weekend of the campaign.
James Hocking, Ashley Toomey and Mitchell Wheatley all got on the scoresheet, as Evergreen picked up their first point of the season.
