Bushey Sports Club were held to an extraordinary 6-6 draw at Standon and Puckeridge in the Senior Premier Division on Saturday.

There was endless entertainment on offer as defences struggled to cope with each side’s attack. Jack Garratt netted a brace for Bushey while Ben Cain, Paul Marks, Ross Shorto and Dean Williams were also on target.

Bedmond Sports and Social Club were well beaten as they went down to a 3-0 defeat at Cuffley.

It was also a disappointing weekend for Bovingdon after they lost 2-0 at Hatfield Social.

Mill End Sports’ patchy start to the season continued after a 1-0 defeat at Letchworth Garden City Eagles. It leaves the side with five points from six games.

Sarratt had no answer to Whitwell as they were thrashed 6-0 at home by the early pace-setters.

In Senior Division One, Old Parmiterians were in blistering form as they romped to an 11-1 win at Colney Heath Reserves.

The victory leaves the side top of the league with a 100 per cent record from their opening three games.

Martin Skinner scored four times while there were braces for James Booth and Ben Talbot. Kayon Howells, Ashley Talbout and Josh Towle completed the rout.

Evergreen claimed their first win of the season as they won 4-2 at Kimpton Rovers. Two goals from Ashley Toomey and efforts from Krasimir Makaveev and Gavin Mawn secured the win.
