Herts Sunday Intermediate Cup Round One

AMICI FC cruised into the second round after defeating Welwyn Campus 13-0, with Chris Coleman leading the rout with an impressive five goals. Craig Gorrie hit a hat-trick for his team, with Greg Usher also netting twice. The remainder of Amici's goals came from Dave Morrish, Bradley Thompson and Michael Coleman.

Met Police (Bushey) had a walkover when US ACLI could not field a team.

WSFL Challenge Cup Round One

Tudor Arms put ten goals past Railway Arms away from home to run out 10-1 victors.

The home side had eight players on the score sheet - Dan Regan and Tom Inch netting two goals each and Luke Pochetty, Karl Bull, Lee Inch, Luke Sheppy, Jack Roberton and Daniel Robertson also registering. Railway’s goal was scored by Ashley Armstrong.

Sun Postal Sports were 9-1 winners over Green Dragon Reserves, with four goals by Luke Peerless and a hat-trick from Sam Hakner. Graeme Olney and Karin El-Janfali scored the other two goals and Tony Browne replied for the Dragons.

Another high-scoring match saw West Watford defeat Sun Postal United 8-3.

A hat-trick from Bilal Akram, two goals by Lemar St Cyr and one each from Cookie Ahmed, Hameed Khan and Basit Hameed sealed the victory. For the Sun, Scott McCarthy scored two goals and Jake Burgess netted one.

West Herts Reserves beat Central Watford 5-3 as Anthony Gilbert, Ashley Bridewell, Roger Lake, Chris Blunden and Dave McConnon got on the scoresheet for Stags.

Sloppy play from both sides saw Central Watford miss two penalties and some poor finishing from West Herts meant that they failed to increase the goal margin.

Central Watford’s goals came from Mohamad Alikhan, who scored twice, and Sabou Conteh.

Rickmansworth Rovers beat Cassiobury Rangers 6-0, with a great defensive display playing its part.

James Budden scored a hat-trick, while Adam Seabrook, Sean Cabey and Dean Mallett also contributing to the victory.

Racing Santamdome had an easy 5-1 win over Evergreen Reserves, with Chris Dunn and Scott Poulter each scoring twice and one goal from Adam Riccitelli. Dan Jones responded for Evergreen.

Colne Valley were 4-2 winners over Bell Rangers thanks to a particularly impressive display from Dave Rooney, who scored a hat-trick.

Andy McKenzie-Bell scored the other goal for Colne Valley, while Michael Gubay-Smith and Marco Bonito got the goals for Bell.

The Swan had an easy 4-0 win against Woodlands United, with two goals coming from Danny Brennan and one each from Dan Christopher and Vilson Culaj.

Hertsmere (Sunday) came out on top in a tight 2-1 victory over Dome Bar Area.

Toki Odugbesan and Michael Adeyemi scored for Hertsmere and Michael Napolitano for the Dome.

Carpenters Park narrowly defeated AFC Oddfellows by a Will Wilson goal.

Premier Division

The prolific Lewis Putnam hit half of Oakview's tally as they claimed a 10-3 victory at Oxhey Estates.

The visitors also netted through Adam Lowton, Owen Deamer, Wayne Gladdy, Daryl Brown and Jake Grace. Two goals were scored by Luke Lloyd and one for Carl Wigg for Estates.

The margin of victory also went some way to make up for Oakview's 11-0 victory against Hammer being removed from the record books after Hammer withdrew from the top division.

St Josephs won 2-0 over Evergreen thanks to goals from Jack Garrett and Harry Brock.

Rifle Volunteer continued their fine run, going top of the Premier Division with a 6-1 victory over AFC Spartians.

In the early stages Rifle struggled to get a foothold in the game and soon found themselves a goal down after 40 minutes. However, Rifle levelled two minutes later through Adam Doe, who found himself unmarked in the box to convert a deep cross from Jackson.

Rifle went on to dominate the second half, with Hugh Trayte scoring a hat-trick, Doe netting his second of the match and one goal each coming from Mark and Andy Lomas. Alex Campana scored for AFC.

Daniel Byron’s goal early in the second half gave Gadeside a narrow victory over old rivals West Herts to move them fourth in the top-flight table.

Jason Brownhill’s whipped in corner was hacked off the line by Briden-Taylor and Byron was the first to react, smashing the loose ball home.

Division One

Leaders Reed Rangers retained their 100 per cent record with a 3-1 away win against Old Fullerians through a Karl Penney hat-trick.

Craig Totten got the only goal for the Old Boys.

Green Dragon had an easy 5-0 win over Nascot Arms, helped by the hat-trick from David Lawrence. Martin Stevens and Sam Margerisson got the remaining two goals and they currently sit second in the table.

Hammer beat Croxley FC 3-0, with Chris Wells scoring twice and Daniel Burke netting one.

Division Two

Oxhey Lions, who lead the table, had a comfortable 3-0 win over RD FC, with two of their goals coming from Liam Hanley and one from Joe Shepherd.

Langleybury Cricket Club won 7-5 against Croxley FC Reserves as Matt Honey hit a hat-trick for the visitors. Matt Whittington scored two and Martin Absolom and Alex Gunning got one goal each.

Rishi Doshi also scored a hat-trick for the home side and Dan Pippin netted a couple, yet Langleybury ultimately proved too strong.

Rifle Volunteer Reserves beat Rickmansworth Athletic 3-1, moving them up to third place in the table.

Dale Sears scored twice and Jake Woolhead once for the away side, while Jack Beard responded with a goal for Ricky.

Division Three

North Watford went top of the table with a 7-2 away victory against Oxhey Rangers as Daniel Moss scored three goals and Saqib Ahmed, Liam Fowler, Shakeb Ali and Mansoor Ali claimed one each.

Daniel Palmer and Jordan Aston-Woods were on the scoresheet for Oxhey.

Division Four

Leaders Wellington Arms had a impressive 9-1 victory against Garston United, with two hat-tricks from Simeon Armstrong and Tom Binbashi contributing significantly for the home side.

The remaining goals were scored by George Baker, Mark Coffey and Troy Attwood, with Russell Kumar netting a consolation goal for Garston.
