Leverstock Green had to settle for a draw on Tuesday night as they drew 2-2 at AFC Dunstable in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division.

The home side went in front in the seventh minute through Leon Cashman and it was an advantage they held until half-time.

Seven minutes after the restart Louis Bircham equalised and Billy Smith then fired the visitors in front.

Dunstable, who are sixth in the top-flight table, battled back and earned a share of the points as Cashman grabbed his second of the contest.

Green take on Dunstable again tomorrow (Saturday) in the FA Cup second preliminary round.

On Saturday, Green crashed out of the FA Cup at the second qualifying round stage after they were thrashed 5-0 by Staines Town.

Tring Athletic, pictured in action against Oxhey Jets, remain fourth in the Premier Division despite suffering a 1-0 defeat against Colney Heath on Saturday.

In a closely-contested match, a 47th-minute penalty from Matthew Standen proved enough to secure victory for Heath.

Tring face Woodford United in the FA Vase second preliminary round tomorrow.
