Hertfordshire Lions are the team to follow for goals. They put six past Meriden Ballers on Sunday to take their tally for the season so far to 37 - an average of four goals a game - but they also conceded twice as their goals against column increased to 29.

Meriden led 1-0 at the break thanks to a penalty from Russell North, but their opponents played some fine football after the break to run out 6-2 victors.

Sam Crafts scored the equaliser almost straight from the restart with a volley from outside the box. He scored again minutes later from a deflected free-kick and this was soon followed by a third, this time from Louis McNamara.

Joe Turberfield then struck a fourth following a McNamara through ball. Right-back Adam Thornhill scored his first goal for the club after a bursting run to get on the end of a cross while George Benedetti netted the sixth after slotting home from a cross from six yards. Meriden pulled a goal back in the final minute through Graham Melsome.

Prince George and Old Danes Athletic shared the points in a 1-1 draw, with both goals coming in the final 20 minutes of the match.

Lewis Chappell Van Gilst put Old Danes ahead, before Luke Everitt levelled with just less than ten minutes left.
