Watford overturned a 21-point deficit to reach the semi-finals of the Hertfordshire President’s Trophy, beating Verulamians 33-32.
It was, however, Watford who took the lead through Richard Powell, but from there Verulamians hit back with 12 unanswered points.
Trailing 12-5, Tom McGee kicked a penalty for Watford but Verulamians quickly went 29-8 ahead in reply.
Watford’s comeback was kick-started by Martin Lee before Ian Butcher, Paul Dunlop went over, with McGee kicking the winning points.
Fullerians are second in London Three North West after they beat West Norfolk 27-8.
Tom Williams, Craig Duncan, Mike Kerr and Simon Lye all scored to seal the points.
