Prince George moved five points clear at the top of the table after a 4-2 win over second-placed Bovingdon as the weather badly affected Sunday's league schedule.

It was a not a good morning for the home side who found themselves 3-0 down by half-time as the visitors adapted to the poor conditions.

Bovingdon finally got themselves into the game after the break and pulled a goal back early on through an Alan Tikerpae strike and that was soon followed by a second goal from Tommy Gray. But with time running out and pushing for an equaliser, they where caught on the break by Prince George for a fourth goal.

The Prince George goals came from a brace by Luke Everitt and one each from Martin Sansverino and Chris Cummings.

Meriden Ballers enjoyed a 10-1 win over bottom-placed Inter FC, which was a first three points of the season for the victors.

It didn’t take long for Meriden to make the breakthrough as Alan Dunton made his way into the box to finish well with a lob. Their pressing then then caused Inter to turn the ball into their own net.

Meriden scored three more times before the break, with a second from Alan Dunton to complete his brace and two from Aaron Crawford.

In the second half substitute Daps Joshua and Ben Dunton got in on the scoring act, with Joshua scoring a quick-fire double and Ben Dunton a single.

Meriden's scoring was completed by a double from John Hall, before John De-Bogou netted a consolation goal for Inter when they were trailing 10-0.
