Olympian League

Division One

United made it six wins from six but they were given a fright by Dynamo Croxley as they came behind to win 2-1.

Jack Mason gave Croxley an early first-half lead, which they held until just before the break when George Mundy equalised.

The winner came late on in the second half from Darren O’Brien.

President’s Cup Group B

Hertfordshire Lions leapfrogged opponents Cassiobury Revolution with a 6-0 home win.

The resounding victory was enough to move the Lions into second spot in the group table, where they are level on points and only a single goal behind leaders Old Danes Athletic.

Jamie Balmer and Louis McNamara both scored doubles, with Tom Carroll and Dennis Fraser also hitting the back of the net to complete the scoring.

Chairman’s Cup Group A

WD Athletic beat Carpenders Park Rangers Reserves 6-1 to ensure top spot in the group, though both sides have already booked their place in the last four.

Carpenders Park's Harley Mead notched his 18th goal in all competitions, which was enough to make him joint top-scorer in the league's two divisions.

The WD Athletic goals came via Pat Turner (2), Danny Hall, Alex Gilmany, Tom Byron and Stephen Sutch.

Roundbush and Woodlands Laurels drew 2-2, with neither side retaining any chance of reaching the semi-finals.

Yash Sookdele gave Woodlands an early lead before Shane Perrin equalised. Woodlands then re-took lead just before half time when Steve Cook’s effort squeezed through the hands of the Bush keeper.

In the second period Bush enjoyed more of the ball and created the better chances, pegging Woodlands back once more when Blaise Shevrington scored.
