Herts Sunday Senior Cup Round Four

AFC Spartians, without a point in the Premier Division, lost 4-2 to the much-fancied Skew Bridge.

Goals from Callum McCarroll and Matt Green were not enough for the Division One side.

Herts Sunday Intermediate Cup Round Five

Green Dragon progressed after beating Queens Head Sandridge 4-2 after extra-time.

Jake Parratt scored a brace, with Luke O’Malley and Lars Burkhardt also on target for Dragon.

Herts Sunday Junior Cup Round Three

Racing Santandome proved no match for Church End, crashing out of the competition after a comprehensive 7-0 thrashing.

WSFL Challenge Cup Round Three

Tudor Arms just edged out Nascot Arms 3-2 in an evenly-contested clash.

The Tudor scorers were Daniel Robertson, Gary Narn and Ian Hurst, whilst Nascot’s goals came via Jamie Greison and Liam Doran.

Premier Division

Oxhey Estates rose to the summit after picking up a 3-2 win at St Josephs.

Rob Bryon (2) and Luke Lloyd cancelled out strikes from Lewis Koch and Jamie Harper for St Josephs.

Mill End Sports just came out on top against Gadeside Rangers, winning 1-0.

Glen O’Malley’s strike proved decisive for Mill End, who are in touch with second-placed Oakview.

Rifle Volunteer and West Herts drew 2-2 in a result which did little for either side.

Lawrence Olorunfemi scored twice for the Stags and Dale Sears grabbed a brace for Rifle.

Division One

Rickmansworth Rovers surrendered their lead at the summit, losing 5-2 at Hammer.

Daniel Cage, Harry Heeley, Lewis Edwards, Joe McCarthy and Jamie Carter all netted for Hammer, with Tom Gibson and Sean Cabey replying for their opponents.

A hat-trick from Dominic David helped Reed Rangers trounce Croxley FC 5-1.

Karl Penney and Lucas Gibbons also chipped in, with Ollie Brooks securing some scant consolation for Croxley.

Division Two

League-leaders Amici overcame bottom side Rickmansworth Athletic 5-3 but were made to work hard for the points.

Dave Stewart struck twice, with Craig Gorrie, Greg Usher and Bradley Thompson also on target. Ricky replied via Shane Kitts, Nicky Thomas and Simon Lee.

A point behind in second, Oxhey Lions eased past Rifle Volunteer Reserves 5-2.

Liam Hanley registered four times, with Ben Woodman scoring the other Oxhey goal. Hugh Trayte and Ben Goode were the Rifle marksmen.

Met Police (Bushey) kept up the heat on the top two with a 6-0 win at Croxley FC Reserves.

Dan Branch ran in a hat-trick and was supported by Richard Taylor (2) and Dave Willmott.

Trailing at half time, Colne Valley came back to beat West Herts Reserves 3-2.

Luke Clark and Andy McKenzie-Bell were on target for Colne, whilst Chris Blunden netted a double for the Stags.

Langleybury Cricket Club enjoyed a dramatic 3-2 win over RD FC.

Greg Cook, Colin Wilson and Matt Honey all netted for Langleybury, with Elliot Myrants-Wilson’s double not enough for RD.

Division Three

In the battle at the top, West Watford beat second-placed AFC Oddfellows 3-1.

Bilal Akram, Basit Hamid and Ajmel Ahmed maintained Watford’s four-point lead, with Calvin Brandy netting twice in reply.

In third, Dome Bar Area huffed and puffed to defeat basement-dwellers Railway Arms 3-2.

Richard Maxwell, Angelo Napolitano and Nick Cornwell were the Dome Bar scorers. Lee Stiles and an own goal provided some consolation for Railway.

North Watford were big winners over Woodlands United, triumphing 7-1.

Liam Fowler, Mansoor Ali and Shoaib Ali all secured braces, with Daniel Moss also notching. Paul Royale was the solitary Woodlands scorer.

Carpenders Park Rangers leapfrogged Oxhey Rangers by picking up a 3-1 win over them.

Andy Avis, Aaran Davis and Tan Hughes rendered Liam Coles’ strike a mere consolation for Rangers.

Division Four

Wellington Arms went three points clear atop the table after getting the better of Evergreen Reserves 5-2.

Simeon Armstrong scored a hat-trick for Arms and was supported by further goals from Mark Richards and Andy Weller.

Aleks Jokiel and Phil Wallduck netted for Evergreen.

Sun Postal Sports just managed to beat The Swan by the odd goal in three.

Louis Hakner and Jamie Dixon were both on target for Sun, with Len Kokaj claiming Swan’s goal.
