Miles Shinkwin's first Southern Area title defence has been rescheduled for March after the Frank Warren show was postponed.

The Bushey-based light-heavyweight (9-0) had been set to take on Harlow’s Richard Horton (9-2) on Saturday at York Hall but the show will now take place on Friday, March 27.

Shinkwin, 26, won the Southern Area title at the beginning of December when he beat Joel McIntyre on points at the same venue and had been in line to defend the belt against Horton.

On the undercard is Mitchell Smith (10-0), also formerly of Bushey ABC. The 22-year-old super-featherweight’s opponent is yet to be confirmed.

Oxhey Village-based Romeo Romaeo (6-0), is also on the bill and the 19-year-old super-featherweight’s opponent is still be announced.

The super-middleweight Southern Area bout between Tom Baker and Kevin Greenwood also headlines the show, with Gary Corcoran, Louis Adolphe and Kirk Garvey in support.
