Watford Sunday League round-up

Herts Sunday Junior Cup Quarter-Finals

High-flying Sun Postal Sports advanced to the semi-finals at the expense of Radlett Village after scoring three late goals to complete a superb 5-4 comeback win.

Sun took an early lead courtesy of a chip from Karim El-Janfali, only to be pegged back before half time.

The game opened up in the second half and Radlett went 3-1 up with two quick-fire goals. Sun responded with another effort from El-Janfali but soon found themselves 4-2 down after a well-taken Radlett goal.

With five minutes left on the clock, Sun pulled one back; Luke Frey latching onto a through ball to slot past the keeper and soon after, Sam Hakner rolled back the years to bury a volley into the bottom corner.

The comeback was complete when Louis Hakner emerged from a 50-50 challenge and found Wes Moore with a cross to tap home the all-important goal from close range.

Sun will now play the winners of Markyate or Echoes.
