Merchant Taylors' School will host the largest wallball event in Europe this weekend.
The Northwood-based school is staging the UK Wallball Open tomorrow and Sunday, with more than 80 entrants coming over from America and Europe.
It is a fast sport where players compete against each other by hitting a ball against a wall with their hands.
UK wallball president and current European number one Daniel Grant, an ex-pupil of Merchant Taylors’ and from Pinner, will be battling with world champions and the current UK Open champion to claim the tournament’s top spot.
The tournament artwork was designed by St Clement Danes pupil Ellie Price.
School children are being invited down this weekend to support the athletes in the competition and meet the current UK team.
