Herts Sunday Intermediate Cup Quarter-Final

It took penalties to decide the all Watford Sunday Football League tussle between Green Dragon and Reed Rangers, with Rangers triumphing 5-4 on penalties.

A goal-laden contest had finished 4-4 in normal time, with Lucas Gibbons, Jamie Seabrook, Dom David and Adam Crassweller on target for Reed.

Lars Burkhardt snatched a brace for Dragon, with Luke O’Malley and Keifer Shuttleworth also netting before spot kicks were required to separate the pair.

Herts Senior Sunday Cup Semi Final

St Josephs’ run in the competition came to an end, losing 3-2 to Nicholas Breakspear OB in a competitive encounter.

Trailing 1-0 in the first half, St Josephs rallied in the second period, striking twice through Lewis Koch but it was not enough to continue their journey.

WSFL Challenge Cup Quarter Final

Rifle Volunteer gunned down Old Fullerians 4-1 to reach the semi-finals of the league's premier competition.

Efforts from Mark Lomas (2), Hugh Trayte and Adam Doe had Rifle ahead at the break before Steve Pich notched for the Old Boys.

Division One

Hammer came down hard on Chorleywood Club, winning 11-1 thanks to a double hat-trick from Daniel Page.

The Hammers marksman was ably assisted by strikes from Joe McCarthy (2), Anthony Ball (2) and Daniel Burke.

Owen Wartnaby scored Chorleywood’s consolation.

Spencer Bellotti hit four as Tudor Arms brushed Cassiobury Rangers aside 8-3 in another thrilling clash.

Jack Roberston hit two, with Tom Inch and Callum O’Connor completing the demolition. Cassiobury retaliated via Warren Davis, Russell Kent and Dan Cordozo.

Rickmansworth Rovers could only mange a 1-1 draw with Croxley FC.

James Budden scored for Ricky, with Jack Waldron replying for Croxley.

Division Two

In the division's only fixture, Langleybury Cricket Club beat Croxley FC 4-3 in yet another fixture where defending was optional.

Matt Honey (2), David Best and Oliver Illot were the Langleybury scorers, whilst Jamie Dunlop (2) and Jason Quilley found the target for Croxley.

Division Three

Second-placed AFC Oddfellows suffered a blow in their title tilt, losing 3-1 to fourth-placed Carpenders Park.

Andy Avis, Steve Barton and Bradley Bunt cancelled out Dale Freeman’s strike for Oddfellows.

North Watford made light work of Oxhey Rangers, thrashing the side two places below them 7-0.

Shohab Ali and Usman Ali grabbed hat-tricks, with Mansoor Ali finishing off the rout.

Racing Santandome hit three second-half goals to overcome Woodlands United 3-0.

Adam Riccitelli struck twice, with Ben Kelly making sure of the points.

Division Four League-leaders Wellington Arms took a decisive step in the title race, crushing second-placed Sun Postal Sports 6-0.

Jordan Sibthorpe (2), Dan Fury, Tom Binbashi, Simeon Armstrong and Steve Shorto all got in on the act for Arms.

Evergreen Reserves turned on the style in the second period to swat aside Green Dragon Reserves 4-0.

Joss Dunham, Callum Rimmer, Aleks Jokiel and Dan Upwood all found the back of the net for Evergreen.

Terry Devereux WSFL President’s Cup Group A

The top two in the group, Oxhey Estates and Oakview, are virtually guaranteed to progress after drawing 3-3.

Estates’ goals came via Luke Beardsworth (2) and Carl Wigg, while Oakview hit back through Lee Armitt, Bobby Harding and an own goal.

Terry Devereux WSFL President’s Cup Group B

Gadeside Rangers beat Premier Division rivals Mill End Sports 2-1.

Adam Hill was the Rangers hero, scoring twice, whilst Craig Horwood registered for Mill End.

WSFL Invitation Cup Group A

Division Two side Oxhey Lions showed a ruthless streak to beat Railway Arms of Division Three 7-0.

Ryan King found the back of the net four times, with Joe Shepherd (2) and Liam Hanley completing the job.

Rifle Volunteer displayed their Premier Division class by beating Garston United of Division Four 4-0.

Sam Ryder netted twice, with Ben Campbell and Jake Woodhead weighing in.

WSFL Invitation Cup Group B

In a meeting of Division Two sides, West Herts Reserves came out on top, 4-0 against Rickmansworth.

Dave McConnon led the way with two, whilst there were further strikes from Jon Gandy and Lawrence Olurunferm.

Division Four outfit Hertsmere (Sunday) pulled off a coup, beating Division Three’s West Watford 3-0.

WSFL Invitation Cup Group C

Division Two Amici did a professional job by beating fourth-tier The Swan 2-0.

Dave Stewart and Chris Coleman scored.
