Garston Ladies Under-13s Mets eased into the League Cup semi-finals after defeating Hemel Hempstead Town 8-2.

Garston proved far too strong for their opponents and Abby Reith led the scoring with four goals. Katie Edmunds, Libby Poster and Raaya Thanki were also on target whilst an own goal completed the rout.

The Under-13 Diamonds were not able to match their counterparts in the competition as they were beaten 2-1 in extra time by Bury Rangers. Alara Kortach scored what proved to be Garston’s consolation.

The Under-15s were in fine form as they defeated local rivals Watford Ladies Harts 7-0. Sydney Gammell, Ellie Basir and Eleanor Barton struck braces while Daisy Parker also scored in the win.

Goals from Aimee Trainis and Yasmin-Rose Sheth weren’t enough for the Under-12 Diamonds who lost 3-2 at St Albans City.

But there was a disappointing defeat for Evergreen Ladies who went down 3-2 against AFC Kempston in Beds & Herts Women’s Football League Division Three on Sunday.

A brace from Paige Lacey-Akers could not salvage a draw.
