Watford Water Polo Club's Under-18s clinched the Winter League Division One title on Sunday.
An 8-6 defeat against Croydon in the final game of the season was not enough to halt Watford's march to the title, with goal difference the deciding factor.
Meanwhile, the Under-17s advanced to the qualification round of the ASA National Age Group Championships in Walsall on Sunday.
A 10-0 win over Chelmsford in their first Group B clash got Watford off to the ideal start, with Kavi Shah (2), Jarryd Myburgh (2), Louis Walochech (2), Thushira Kumarage, Joey Gardner-White, Will Eggleton and Jonny Walker all on target.
Watford were rampant in their second clash, destroying Cwm Draig 'B' 23-1; Will Sammons and Gardner White notching five apiece.
Chelmsford made harder work for Watford the second time round, fighting back from 5-0 down but eventually losing 9-5. Walochech (2), Walker (2), Gardner-White (2), Shah, Myburgh and Ross Leon all netting.
Exeter finally inflicted Watford's first defeat of the day, 10-3, before an 8-1 reverse at the hands of Solihull in their final game.
Watford will now return to Walsall on the weekend of March 28/29 for the qualification round after progressing behind Walsall and Solihull. They will be joined by the three top sides from Group ‘A’, Sedgefield, Invicta, and City of Manchester.
