Hertsavers Senior County League Round-up
Belstone bounced back from consecutive cup defeats in emphatic fashion by winning twice over the Easter weekend.
The Premier Division leaders hit five on Monday as they trounced Cuffley 5-2 through Alan Bolger, Darren Butler, Tighe Hyde, Jason Puzey and Darren Turner.
Two days earlier Belstone had bounced back to form with a 4-1 win at Bushey Sports Club.
Turner helped himself to a brace and there was a double for Jamie Arthur also. Dean Williams got Bushey’s consolation.
Second-placed Bovingdon could only draw 1-1 with Standon & Puckeridge, which allowed Belstone to take a two-point lead at the top. Louis Pritchard scored the Bovvy goal.
An Adrian Abramian goal was not enough for Chipperfield Corinthians, who were beaten 2-1 at home by Letchworth Garden City Eagles.
Mill End Sports went down 4-1 at Hatfield Social while Sarratt drew 1-1 at Sandridge Rovers.
