Bushey golfer Callum Shinkwin clinched his first top-three finish of the season on the Challenge Tour on Sunday after ending the Turkish Airlines Challenge nine under par.
The 21-year-old struggled in his opening tournament of this year’s Tour but was back to his best in Turkey, putting together rounds of 71, 68, 70 and 70.
His score of 279 ensured a joint third place finish alongside four other competitors.
Shinkwin pocketed € 8,820 in prize money, coming behind winner Rhys Davies and runner-up Lorenzo Gagli.
