Garston Ladies Under-13 Mets became the latest of the club's sides to win silverware after beating Watford Ladies Harts 4-2 in the League Cup final.

The senior side lifted the League Cup at the expense of Sherrardswood Ladies a week earlier and the Under-13s repeated that success on Saturday.

Watford broke away to open the scoring inside the opening minutes. But an end-to-end half was brought to an close level after Ruby Jager netted for Garston.

Abbie Lafayette notched twice after the restart to put Garston in front only for Watford to claw back a second on the counter-attack.

But the Purples re-opened a two-goal lead straight from kick-off, Mia Ford netting following a determined run.

There was no cause for celebration for the Under-15s, who battled back from falling behind to eventually lose 3-2 to St Albans City North in their League Cup final.

Garston were slow off the mark and quickly found themselves trailing 2-0 to a pair of soft goals. However, the second half showed a vast improvement and Katy Porter struck for Garston.

And it remained that way until ten minutes from the end when St Albans added a killer third. Sydney Gammell replied five minutes later but the Purples could not force extra time.

The Under-12 Mets also suffered disappointment as they lost their League Cup final 2-0 to league runners-up Harvesters Blues.

Darci Harewood netted twice for the Under-11 Mets, who triumphed on penalties in their League Cup final against Hitchin Belles.
