Callum Shinkwin was unable to build on a good start at the Lyoness Open, finishing tied for 59th in Austria.
The Bushey golfer, 22, had shot a three-under-par 69 in the first round but could not capitalise on an encouraging opening round in Atzenbrugg last Thursday.
Shinkwin made par by shooting 72 in round two but was three over in round three and was one shot over in the fourth to tumble down the rankings by day four with a toal of 289.
He ultimately finished down the pecking order on Sunday but still scooped a prize of €3,900 to boost his winnings for the season to €24,712, leaving him 194th in the Race to Dubai rankings after competing in four events.
Englishman Chris Wood won by shooting a 15-under-par 273.
