Watford Harriers’ Marli Jessop has continued her successful season with another victory in the 100m hurdles at the weekend.
Jessop, 12, who has already been crowned Hertfordshire county champion, county school champion, district champion and national sportshall champion, added to those titles with last weekend’s success, winning the east of England champion hurdles in Cambridge.
A personal best of 11.53 won it for the St Joan of Arc pupil and took her national ranking to fifth.
Jessop’s 15-year-old sister Remi was also successful at Cambridge, winning bronze medals in the 100m with a time of 12.80 and the 200m with a time of 26.50.
