Ritchie Hanlon will face a quick return to the current incarnation of his former side when Kings Langley face AFC Rushden and Diamonds in the preliminary round of the FA Cup.

Hanlon, 37, who spent two spells with the original Rushden and Diamonds – who folded in 2011 following financial irregularities – will face his ‘former’ side on Saturday, August 15, after Kings were drawn against the new side.

Both teams were promoted last season – Kings from the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division and Diamonds from the United Counties League Premier Division – and as such, also meet in the Southern League Division One Central.

Oxhey Jets begin their FA Cup journey at home against AFC Kempston Rovers.

In wait for the victors is £1,500 in prize money and an away trip to either Wellingborough Town or Ashford Town in the preliminary round.

Preliminary round ties will be played on Saturday, August 29, with a prize of £1,925 for the winners.

Berkhamsted have also been drawn at home and face Hanworth Villa. Should they win, they play away against Southern League Division One Central side Barton Rovers.

Sun Sports face Northampton Sileby Rangers away from home, with a home tie against Leighton Town for the winners.

And the winners of the local derby between Tring Athletic and Leverstock Green will be rewarded with a home tie against Arlesey Town.

Kings start their FA Trophy campaign with an away tie against Faversham Town or Bury Town on Saturday, October 31 in the first qualifying round. There is £2,700 in prize money for the winners.

In the FA Vase first qualifying round, Berkhamsted are at home to Woodford United. Should they win, they will host either Northampton on Chenecks or Sun Sports.

Tring face an away trip to Burton Park Wanderers, with a visit to Rothwell Corinthians or Bedford to follow for the victors in the second qualifying round.

First qualifying round ties will be played on Saturday, September 5, and winners pocket £600. Second qualifying round ties take place on Saturday, October 3, with £800 in prize money.

Oxhey Jets enter the draw in the second qualifying round, and face an away trip to either Hanworth Villa or Desborough Town, whilst Leverstock Green visit Biggleswade United.
