Watford & District Bowling Association to hold first Under-18 Championship on Saturday
Watford and District Bowling Association are holding a first ever Under-18 Mixed Singles Championship to help boost the popularity of the sport.
The competition, which will pit 16 young bowls players against one another in two groups of eight, will take place at Berkhamsted Bowls Club on Saturday.
Matches get underway at 9.40 and the winners and runners up in each group will face off to determine the winner, second and third place.
Free parking, to a maximum of four hours, is available at the club, however, permits can be provided for all-day parking which will be allocated by the parking team on arrival.
Catering will also be provided at the club.
