Ronnie O'Sullivan will feature at the Snooker Legends Doubles Invitational Tournament which will be staged at Watford Colosseum in February.

The tournament, which is being held in association with the Watford Observer, will take place on Saturday, February 27.

Eight snooker legends will team up into four pairs to battle it out for the cash prize. Already confirmed are O’Sullivan, fresh from his recent 147 break in Scunthorpe, Jimmy White, John Parrott, Tony Knowles and Reanne Evans.

The five-time world champion is relishing the chance to return to the Colosseum in 2016.

O’Sullivan said: “We had a great sell-out night in Watford in January so we’re delighted to be returning. The doubles was a tournament that took place before I started playing so it’s nice to have it back and it’ll be great fun.”

Tour promoter Jason Francis said: “Snooker Legends is always evolving and I’ve had this idea for bringing back the doubles for some time. When I mentioned it to Ronnie has was buzzing. It’ll still be fun but with a competitive edge. We’ve sold out twice now in Watford so people need to get in quick, tickets are a great Christmas present.”

An afternoon session of two semi-finals, starting at 1pm, will be followed by the final in the evening which will include a trick shot cabaret.

Tickets are now on sale for both sessions or you can take advantage of a combination package to secure your seat for both sessions and guarantee you see all the action.

Tickets start at £25 for the evening show and £20 for the afternoon. Combined tickets start at £50.
