West Herts claimed their first win of the season after a 3-2 victory at Teddington in the NHL East Conference.

Veteran Teddy striker Chris Seddon got the home side off to a good start netting after just two minutes. But the ever trusty Dan Webster levelled matters from a penalty corner three minutes later.

Andrew Seimann gave Stags the lead after 38 minutes only for Jonathan Cardy to make it 2-2 shortly afterwards.

The winner came with ten minutes remaining when Terry Kynaston nipped in to score their third goal.

In the Ladies East Premier, West Herts also picked up a 3-2 victory at St Albans Seconds.

There was late drama at Oaklands College for West Herts who saw a 3-0 lead evaporate before their eyes in the last ten minutes of the game.

Prior to that Herts had worked their way patiently into a dominant position through goals by Jen Black, Becky Perry and Katie Bryden.

Two late goals put them under pressure but the visitors held on for the win.

West Herts men's seconds drew 2-2 with Cambridge City thirds in East Division One.

But the thirds lost 6-2 to Brentwood in East Division Two South.

West Herts fourths beat Blueharts Fourths 6-2 to top the East Division Five SW.

Nils Mundy, Charlie Higgs, Ian Gough, Arnav Rawat and Michael Jones were on target.

The fifths defeated Royston thirds 3-1 in Division 7SW.

West Herts ladies seconds lost 2-0 at home to Brentwood in Division 2C.

In the Five Counties Premier, the thirds lost 2-1 to Saffron Walden thirds despite a Vicky Cowley goal.
