Premier Division

Dom David continued his hot scoring streak as Reed Rangers went top of the table following a 9-0 demolition of Rifle Volunteer.

David led the charge with seven goals, taking his personal tally to an impressive 15 in the last three matches, while Lucan Gibbons and David James pitched in with one each.

Two goals from Chris Killer and an effort by Luke Lloyd did not allow Oxhey Estates to build on their previous week’s win when losing 5-3 at home to Rickmansworth Rovers.

A brace from Rovers’ Hadleigh de Vall, efforts by Jake Flower and Will Hall plus an own goal leaves Oxhey planted firmly at the wrong end of the division following Hammer’s recent demise.

Herts Sunday Intermediate Cup Round Three

Cassiobury Rangers shook off their poor league form to knock out Greenacres Tavern 4-2 after waiting a week to play their rearranged tie.

A fine hat trick from Joe Mortimer and a strike by Callum Woolnough set up a home tie against Marina Vale from Hoddesden.

WSFL Intermediate Cup Round Two

High-flying Division One side Chorleywood Club were outgunned 3-1 by Division Two leaders RD FC thanks to goals from Dan Parkes, Eliot Myrants-Wilson and Hugh Trayte. The home side’s consolation was scored by Ryan Mahon.

In an all-Division Two clash, the form book was followed as mid-table Gadeside Rangers beat bottom side AFC Oddfellows 4-2 through a hat-trick by Adam Hills and a goal from Tariq Khan. Oddfellows’ efforts were netted by Joe Fox and Calvin Brandy.

Current form was also followed in the other all-Division Two tie where mid-table Oxhey Rangers entertained Langleybury Cricket Club and lost 6-4 despite a fine hat-trick from Jack Walsh and a Liam Coles effort.

Langleybury’s Greg Cook also struck a treble as further goals from Colin Wilson, Dan Chitty and Matt Honey saw their side progress.

Division One

North Watford remain near the foot of the table following a 4-1 defeat at home to mid-table West Watford.

A hat-trick from Ajmal Ahmed and a goal by Steven Harper secured the points after Mansoor Ali struck for the home side.

With half of the season played, Old Fullerians appear untouchable and on target for a record points total thanks to another victory, this time a 6-1 win over South Oxhey Labour Club.

A hat-trick by Steve Pich, a brace from Sam Parker and a Dan Woosley effort gave them the points as Aaron Davies grabbed Labour’s consolation.

Oxhey Lions could not repeat their previous week’s fine win in the Herts Intermediate Cup, going down 6-4 to Croxley FC, who moved up the table to just below their opponents.

Wayne Gladdy (2), Luke Beardsworth and Ryan Walsh found the target for the home side but a hat-trick by Jack Wilson and goals from Craig Garrett, Thomas Hughes and Robin Holliday gave Croxley the points.

Division Two

Croxley FC Reserves achieved their first win of the season at home to third-placed Colne Valley to move off the foot of the table.

Goals from Anthony Hrano, Andy Hale and Michael Gillman gave them the points with a 3-2 win after Valley had scored through Lawrence Anscomb and Karl Booth.

Unbeaten West Herts kept up the pressure on the leading sides with a 6-2 win over Rickmansworth Athletic, who now find themselves firmly rooted at the bottom of the table.

Shane Kitts scored two fine goals for the visitors but Chris Coleman (2), Dave Stewart, Kayon Howells, Jeremy Audic and Harry Hughes pitched in for West Herts.

Division Three

Another team to record their first league win of the campaign were bottom side Railway Arms, who secured a 2-1 success against previously unbeaten mid-table outfit Hertsmere (Sunday).

Mitch Knight was on target for the visitors but a strike by Shane Perrin and an own goal were enough to give Railway all three points.

More surprisingly, previously undefeated Tudor Vets lost 3-1 away to mid-table Sun Postal Sports, who took the points thanks to a Shamoon Ahmed brace and a strike by Sam Hakner.

Tudor’s ‘Mr Reliable’, Gary Wicks was again on target for the visitors, who despite this loss, still retained top spot.

Division Four

Having shared the points in their home fixture, Chess United went one better with a 1-0 victory away to AC Little Silhouette of Milan courtesy of a goal from Craig Putnam.

Top side Fox and Hounds entertained Woodlands Laurels and extended their unbeaten run with a 3-1 victory thanks to a brace from Max Earthrowl and a strike by Bradley Thompson.

Woodlands should take comfort that their goal from Genti Noxha was only the second conceded by the Fox this season.

Sam Rodgers found the net for Garston Rangers in their home clash against Ardent FC but they were emphatically defeated 9-1 after Charlie Salvage and Keifer Shuttleworth both scored two. Chris McHugh, Dwayne Duncan, Glenn Rawlings and Lee Spence each added one apiece.
