West Herts finished fourth in Division One at the National Indoor Championships with Dan Webster the tournament's top scorer.

Placed third after the opening weekend of fixtures, the Stags were looking to kick on but were beaten 8-6 in their first fixture of the day by Bath Buccaneers.

Webster (4), Ed Welch and Max Webster were all on target but Herts came up short.

An 11-4 win over Sheffield Hallam in their second fixture of the day got West Herts back on track with Dan Webster (6), Shea O'Sullivan (2), Welch, Adam Johnson hitting the target.

Sunday began with a clash against Brooklands MU; the Mancunians running out 6-4 winners.

Efforts from Welch, Dan Webster and Andy Dixon keeping the Stags in the contest until the end.

West Herts completed the weekend with an 8-6 win over Southgate courtesy of strikes from Max Webster (3), O'Sullivan (2), Welch, Adam Webster and Dan Webster, taking his tally to 25 across the two weekends.

In East League Division One, West Herts Seconds beat Bourne Deeping 3-0 whilst the ladies' Seconds were beaten 3-0 by Basildon in East Division Two South.
