Gaston Ladies Under-18 Sharks secured a comfortable 8-3 victory against Leighton United at the weekend with Lilly Clark leading the way with a hat-trick.
Jade Roberts and Kristal Clarke got two each and Hannah Burt’s powerful effort completed the scoring.
All of Gaston’s younger teams took part in a major futsal tournament in Wlewyn Garden City.
The Under-14 Pumas reached the final but were unlucky to lose on penalties and the Under-9 Panthers were also runners- up.
Chloe Dinsey was the stand-out performer for the Under-16 Jaguars with four goals in the tournament while the Under-12s finished second in their group.
The Under-10 Jaguars also finished second in their group and the Under-8 Pumas were in fine form with Erin Radbourne (2), Katy Ord and Sarah Zaoui all getting on the scoresheet.
