Fullerians stayed top of London Two North West after a 43-29 bonus-point win over Old Merchant Taylors' on Saturday.

The hosts opened the scoring when a scrum saw Fullers take the ball over the line for number eight George Harvey to open the scoring. Full back Dan Evans converted for the extra points.

OMT were temporarily reduced to 14 men and their ill-discipline cost them dearly. A catch and drive from the lineout saw second row Liam Boyd take the ball and score.

Scrum half Max Rawlinson mixed his game well and linked brilliantly with full-back Evans who crashed over in the 16th minute. Rawlinson also went over to make it 26-3.

Fullers were pushing for another try in the OMT 22 but a risky long pass was intercepted and the opposing centre ran 70m to score.

Evans went over again with some fine work by the forwards and backs for him to score his second which gave them a 31-10 lead at the break.

Centre Craig Duncan was on hand to use his footwork and powered over after the restart.

The visitors responded with a try of their own but it was not long before Fullerians replied through Harvey's second of the match.

Head coach Rich Hoskins said: "It was a big January for us and we have won all our games so let’s see what February has installed for us in this very competitive league.”

Fullerians seconds romped to a 53-5 win at Harrow. There were tries for Phil Holby, Malcolm Harrison, Kirk Marsh, Kristian Williams (2), Tom Beak, Charlie Dollard and Ben Wetton (2).
