Watford Ladies Harts Under-14s made it through to their second successive Herts County Cup Final after a 5-0 win over Knebworth.

Neve Mayes gave Harts the perfect start as she turned home a rebound from close range and Molly Conlon-Thomas fired in a second from distance.

Jemimah Rose then scored either side of Mayes’ second as Harts ran away with the win in the second half.

The Under-12 Hornets were in equally dominant mood as they strolled to a 5-0 win in their County Cup quarter-final against Garston Ladies Jaguars.

Kayra Karakus got the ball rolling and T’yana Nee-Chambers made it two before the interval. Jessica Cripps, Bliss Murray and Catherine Reeves’ strikes secured the win.

It was a less enjoyable weekend for the Under-12 Harts as they slipped to a narrow extra time defeat against St Margaretsbury.

The Under-18 Wasps ran out 3-0 winners at home over Bury Rangers thanks to goals from Kelly Asojo, Carly Gilbey and Alice Heady.

In the Greater London Women’s Football Development League, the Development squad closed to within a point of top spot with a 3-2 win over Regents Park Rangers through Ellen Clarabut, Chloe Farrell and Kerry Newman.

In a top-of-the-table clash between the Under-16 Hornets and Capital Girls League Division One leaders Reading, the Hornets just came up short in a 3-2 defeat.

Jenny Hughes’ strike was not enough for the Under-16 Wasps as they suffered a 2-1 defeat against Bury Rangers.

The Under-16 Harts were also defeated as St Albans City Youth condemned them to a 3-2 loss. Sydney Gammell got the consolation goal.
